World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a Network Engineer to support the Government Services team across multiple US locations, focusing on engineering and design while handling Tier 1-2 escalations for a global network environment. The role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, IP networking, and secure configurations.

The position spans Scott AFB, IL; Hill AFB, UT; and Fort Meade, MD, with opportunity to influence network modernization, automation, and SD-WAN initiatives within federal

Qualifications

• Secret Security clearance
• 6+ years minimum experience in Network Engineering
• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field
• Vendor Associate or higher-level network certification
• Experience with network engineering and design
• Experience with network operations and site integration
• Other industry product experience and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate new implementations of the Network stack.
• Assist installation of network equipment with partners, clients and stakeholders.
• Design multi-vendor routing and switching networks.
• Troubleshoot large enterprise networks.
• Explain technical concepts to clients and provide guidance.
• Document network architecture and design choices.
• Provide secure, high performing configurations of the network environments.
