Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead a team of 8–10 engineers focused on large-scale data platform reliability and AI/ML workloads. You will own non-functional requirements, establish availability targets, and drive production readiness across distributed systems.

You will guide architecture, implement observability frameworks, manage incident response, and mentor engineers to improve reliability, security, and performance in a complex cloud

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering.
• 5+ years of SRE or platform engineering experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience with observability, SLIs/SLOs, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8–10 engineers, fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
• Own non-functional requirements, availability targets, and SLIs/SLOs for services supporting large-scale data platforms and AI/ML workloads.
• Drive design and evolution of observability and reliability frameworks across distributed systems and data platforms.
• Oversee architecture and operational stability of data platform infrastructure, including Databricks and Spark pipelines.
• Promote reuse of enterprise AI capabilities within Reliability workflows with governance and validation.
