Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive resiliency across critical applications in the Commercial & Investment Bank space. You will lead a team, shape reliability strategy, and mentor engineers while leveraging AI-enabled workflows to accelerate incident response and improve service levels.

This role requires deep expertise in observability, CI/CD, containers, networking, and enterprise architecture, with a focus on security and risk management within a global

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Proficient in reliability, scalability, performance, security and enterprise architecture principles.
• Fluent in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java/Spring Boot, .Net).
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with strong validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to evaluate AI-assisted recommendations and set guardrails for resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

• Champions site reliability culture and shares knowledge across the organization.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics.
• Collaborates to define service level indicators, objectives and error budgets with stakeholders.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
• Acts as main incident contact to quickly resolve issues and prevent financial loss.
• Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Leads adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC/toolchain for traceability and security.
