BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President to join our Alternatives team in New York City. The role focuses on leading operational engagement within the Private Markets Accounting pod, supporting internal and external client stakeholders.

You will drive product lifecycle collaboration with product managers, oversee process improvements, risk and regulatory alignment, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to deliver value in a fast-growing private markets environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10-12 years of total work experience with at least 5 years in Alternatives Asset Servicing and/or Investment Management Operations role is preferred.
• Alternative Investments or directly relevant financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with leading Alternatives Markets core systems of record (Geneva and Investran a preference) and associated vendor reconciliation, data management and third party regulatory and financial reporting outsourcing partners is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in data management.
• Experience in working within agile teams a preference.
• Demonstrable experience in vendor management, change management and project management preferred but not essential.
• Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• Applicable local and global licenses or certifications as required by the business.

• Lead operational engagement within the Private Markets Accounting pod and support internal and external client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product teams to influence development and enhancements of key products and services for the Alternatives client-base.
• Assess and design solutions for production improvement, automation, or new capabilities; act as operations advocate for efficiency and risk reduction.
• Ensure compliance with Risk, Legal, and Regulatory guidelines across activities.
• Partner with wider Alternatives product group and enterprise leaders to implement product enhancements including pricing and distribution strategies.
• Coordinate with Relationship Management, Business Development, Operations, and Marketing to align sales support and market positioning.
• Assist with recruitment, development and motivation of staff within the Alternatives product management and broader operations team.
