Job summary

BNY Mellon in New York, NY seeks a VP, Alternative Investments Transfer Agency Technical Product Specialist to join the Fund and Investor Solutions team in NYC. You will gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable Investor Services solutions, and guide a cross-functional engineering/product group in an Agile setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5–7 years of total work experience required.
• Transfer Agency experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to innovative product development.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements for Investor Services product enhancements.
• Working with operations, product, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Leverage operational knowledge to help design robust and scalable solutions.
• Creating user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
• Help guide the work of a crossfunctional group of engineers and product specialists within an Agile construct.
• Be curious about changes affecting the industry e.g. regulatory changes and emerging technologies.
• Champion the disciplined use of AI.
