Suddath is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee warehouse, transportation, and delivery operations across the network with travel to field markets. You will drive service performance, establish standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements.

The role emphasizes improving profitability, reducing damages, and ensuring compliance across markets, with preference for candidates in major Texas markets and willingness to travel within the network.

• Leadership experience in large-scale logistics/operations.
• Strong ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and improvements.
• Proven track record of achieving service-level targets and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for warehouse, transportation, and delivery operations across the network.
• Own service performance across the network, including on-time delivery, damage-free delivery, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain service, quality, and performance standards across all markets.
• Lead operating reviews and performance management processes to ensure accountability and execution.
• Maintain a disciplined approach to identifying and resolving service failures, customer complaints, claims, and performance issues.
• Lead initiatives focused on reducing damages, claims, delivery exceptions, and customer escalations.
• Ensure effective performance governance through KPI management, reporting, trend analysis, and operational visibility.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen operational controls, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to all requirements.
