Suddath Companies is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead onsite logistics, drive process improvements, and manage a high-performing team delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences.

You will oversee freight movements, implement KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, and align with client service levels and financial goals. A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in logistics or warehouse operations are preferred to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Broad range of management skills with emphasis on leadership, problem solving, motivation and planning.
• Ability to interface with partners across the supply chain and influence senior executives.
• Experience building vendor strategy, KPIs, audits and flawless execution.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, operations and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with MS Office and warehouse/transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all freight movement into and out of the warehouse while maintaining service levels and cost controls.
• Train and supervise employees to meet objectives; coordinate with Transportation Operations.
• Develop and implement warehousing programs to meet cost and service goals.
• Oversee freight claims processing and collections.
• Forecast costs, equipment availability, service levels; implement corrective actions.
• Establish and measure KPIs for on-time delivery, shipping costs, inventory, productivity, and workforce planning.
• Lead supplier/customer interactions and resolve escalations.
• Develop budgets and report to senior management.
