Job summary

The Veterans Benefits Administration seeks a qualified professional to ensure continuity of supervision when the Team Coach rotates, and to perform duties in the absence of the Coach. This position serves as assistant supervisor within a team in the Decision Review Operations Center.

Applicants must meet time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements, including interpretation of C&P laws and precedents. SF-50 submissions and proper documentation are required by the closing date.

Qualifications

• One year of Specialized Experience equivalent to GS-11.
• Experience interpreting C&P laws, regulations, and Court opinions.
• VA system experience (VSR Authorizer, RVSR, AQRS or DRO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity of supervision during rotation of the Team Coach.
• Serve as Team Coach in the absence of the Coach and share responsibilities.
• Assist supervisor across a team within the Decision Review Operations Center.
