Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of full-time experience determining veterans’ benefits eligibility.
• 1 year of supervisory/lead experience.
• CDVA accreditation via VA (Title 38 CFR 14.629) required at appointment and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the Veteran Services Office functions and staff.
• Interview, hire, supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
• Provide onboarding and training to new staff.
• Assist veterans with benefits claims and eligibility.
• Prepare and submit appeals to VA and other agencies as needed.
• Maintain case files and records, and compile statistics.
• Engage in public outreach and conduct veteran briefings.
