Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a VDC professional to lead the review of design models and coordinate BIM workflows on construction sites. You will collaborate with stakeholders and produce deliverables using Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a background in VDC with 4+ years of experience. On-site work in Dallas area, with opportunities to apply advanced BIM techniques and VR/AR tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) or related technology, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, with minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Attain and maintain continuing education credits for CM-BIM designation, preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and specifications related to VDC.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills for collaborative discussions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with BIM-based applications and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead review of design models for construction projects on site in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Perform VDC-related tasks and coordination of project deliverables using BIM tools.
• Coordinate VDC meetings, document control, and action-item tracking.
• Develop BIM coordination processes and assist in RFIs and submittals.
• Prepare quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Support on-site constructability solutions and communication among teams.
• Explore and apply new VDC tools and continuous improvement opportunities.
