Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior BIM/VDC professional to oversee BIM field operations and align VDC processes with project schedules. You will lead the VDC team, ensure adoption of Turner Digital Build standards, and coordinate with project stakeholders to drive successful BIM implementation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field with at least 6 years’ experience, strong communication, and advanced knowledge of BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field with minimum 6 years of related experience.
• Attain and maintain continuing education credits for CM-BIM designation, preferred.
• Able to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Thorough knowledge of VDC tools and applications in construction, cost, scheduling, estimating, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes for multiple projects.
• Advise on VDC objectives and ensure compliance with Turner Digital Build standards.
• Plan BIM tools and processes with VDC and project teams based on constraints.
• Develop and refine BIM implementation plans aligned with contracts.
• Provide Quality Control of quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Mentor and lead the VDC project team through planning and launch activities.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and communicate BIM impacts to scheduling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project quality requirements and safety protocols.
