Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Sr Associate Patient Coordinator for the Vascular Surgery team. This role involves coordinating with patients, physician offices, hospitals, and other partners to ensure timely, accurate scheduling and medical record handling.

You will register and schedule patients, arrange referrals to clinical programs, and provide clerical support across clinics and procedures. Strong customer service, medical terminology knowledge, and ability to work with an interdisciplinary

• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare customer service environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proven ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated analytical, prioritizing and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with patients, physician offices, hospitals and other medical organizations to create accurate and comprehensive patient charts.
• Register and schedule patients in a customer service oriented, efficient and effective manner.
• Complete complex scheduling of multiple appointments and/or procedures.
• Provide clerical support related to scheduling and coordination of services within the organization.
• Provide administrative support to clinic, surgical and procedural areas as assigned.
