CVS Health is seeking a Functional & Technical Expert to support the Varicent SPM platform within the HR Technology team. You will drive compensation-related sales incentives, translate business needs into technical designs, and ensure scalable solutions across Total Rewards and HR stakeholders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional partners, detailed requirement analysis, and the delivery of rigorous testing and documentation to support accurate compensation processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a Varicent Functional or Technical Lead role.
• 8+ years configuring and debugging Varicent SPM workflows and calculations.
• 5+ years in integrating Varicent with enterprise systems.
• Experience gathering requirements, fit-gap analyses and functional design.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration across HR and IT functions.
• Experience leading product teams in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to support Compensation functional area for Sales Incentives.
• Develop vision, goals and roadmap for the product.
• Evaluate Varicent capabilities through testing and research.
• Configure, customize, and maintain Varicent enhancements and reports.
• Lead design, development and maintenance of the Varicent platform for scalability and reliability.
• Ensure documentation, testing and approvals are maintained throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and align with HR Technology and Shared Services.
