Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a seasoned Varicent Functional/Technical Lead to own the design, configuration, and optimization of the Varicent SPM platform for Sales Incentives within the Total Rewards and HR domains.

You will partner with HR Technology and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, maintain documentation, and drive timely delivery of enhancements while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in a Varicent Functional or Technical Lead role.
• 8+ years' experience configuring and debugging Varicent SPM processes.
• 8+ years' experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and testing SaaS apps.
• 5+ years Varicent SPM platform experience, including calculations and workflows.
• 5+ years' experience integrating Varicent with enterprise systems.
• 5+ years' experience generating Varicent reports for analysis.
• 4+ years' experience with Varicent integration architecture and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical partners to support the Compensation functional area for Sales Incentives, including the established list of global priorities and roadmaps.
• Develop vision, goals and roadmap for the Product with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Evaluate Varicent capabilities through research and testing.
• Gather requirements, business process optimization, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration and testing; document at each stage.
• Lead translation of business requirements to technical solutions with timelines; encourage product innovation.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Varicent SPM platform with scalability and reliability.
• Configure, customize, and develop Varicent enhancements, including calculations, workflows, rules, and compensation plan components; document each stage.
• Design, build, and maintain complex Varicent reports, dashboards, analytics, and audit capabilities.
• Perform fit-gap analysis, functional design, application configuration, UAT and maintenance.
• Prepare test plans, scenarios, cases, and results; document accordingly.
• Maintain up-to-date deliverables and timelines; communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of Varicent enhancements, project requests and defects with scalable solutions.
• Confirm delivered product meets business needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure consistent delivery and set expectations.
• Integrate relevant data to inform strategy and share insights based on data and metrics.
• Challenge partners to improve business processes and solve problems creatively.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform performance improvements.
• Stay aware of Varicent functionality and coordinate vendor communications.
• Participate in vendor releases and guide regression testing; mentor team members.
• Provide strategic direction to product and shared services teams.
