Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a valuation professional to deliver independent, technically sound valuations for financial reporting, tax, and transactions. You will build robust models, assess cash flows, and communicate conclusions to clients.

You will lead multiple engagements, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with senior professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field required.
• Two years of business valuation experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and valuations of businesses, securities, assets, and other illiquid investments for financial reporting, tax, and transactions.
• Build and update complex valuation models using DCF, market multiples, and other techniques.
• Assess financial statements and cash flows to develop supportable valuation conclusions.
• Research industries, markets, and transactions to inform valuations and assumptions.
• Develop clear valuation reports and client presentations communicating methodologies and conclusions.
• Engage with clients and management to obtain information and present findings.
• Oversee multiple engagements, manage priorities, and monitor deliverables.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to associates and junior professionals.
