Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Consultant in Forensics & Valuation to join our nationwide practice. You will prepare business valuation models and reports, analyze industry and economic information, and support investigations and litigation projects.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's or master's in accounting or finance with a 3.0+ GPA, is able to travel, and is pursuing CPA, ABV, ASA, or CFA credentials; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university.
• GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• All accounting coursework must be completed with a grade of C or above.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person.
• Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing business valuation models and reports
• Researching and analyzing industry, transactional, and economic information
• Preparing for and participating in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference
• Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates
• Assisting with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures
• Participating in investigations, litigation support, and forensic consulting engagements
• Performing detailed analysis of financial and legal documents, reconstruction of financial statements
• Applying technical research skills needed to gather, organize, summarize, and interpret data to arrive at a conclusion
• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients
