Job summary

Forvis Mazars LLP is seeking candidates for a Consultant role in Forensics & Valuation. You will develop valuation models, analyze industry and economic trends, and support investigations and litigation engagements across the country.

Ideal candidates hold accounting/finance degrees, a 3.0+ GPA, and are prepared to travel as needed. CPA/ABV/ASA/CFA credentials are preferred; Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• All accounting coursework must be completed with a grade of C or above.
• Some travel may be required.
• Must have reliable transportation to attend off-site meetings in person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business valuation models and reports.
• Research and analyze industry, transactional, and economic information.
• Prepare for and participate in management interviews, onsite or via teleconference.
• Assist audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates.
• Assist with quality control through mathematical testing.
• Participate in investigations, litigation support, and forensic engagements.
• Analyze financial and legal documents, reconstruct statements, and identify fraud indicators.
• Apply technical research to gather, organize, summarize, and interpret data.
