Job summary

Happy Returns, a UPS Company, is seeking a Senior UX Designer / Researcher to lead both research and design for products used by shoppers, store associates, and our specialists. You will work with engineers, PMs, and leadership to scale in the $800 billion returns market.

You will plan and execute UX research, synthesize insights into clear recommendations, and craft flows and high-fidelity designs in Figma while contributing to a design system.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer or UX researcher.
• Proficiency in Figma, including building components and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Experience conducting and synthesizing UX research into actionable insights.
• Strong cross-functional communication and advocacy for the user.
• Portfolio shows research-informed design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for Happy Returns products across web, partner apps, and warehouse tools.
• Plan, conduct, and lead UX research throughout the product lifecycle to discover user needs.
• Synthesize findings into prioritized recommendations and drive product improvements with teams.
• Craft user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma with product and engineering.
• Contribute to standardizing Happy Returns design system components.
• Refine internal research methodologies and templates.
