Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Senior Product Researcher, Experience Design, to own the research strategy for Shipping and Mailing. You will work with design, product management, engineering, data, and go‑to‑market teams with high autonomy, shaping direction before requirements are defined.

You will lead generative and evaluative studies, set success metrics, and study AI‑assisted experiences while ensuring ethical data handling.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of applied UX, product, or design research experience.
• End‑to‑end mixed‑methods expertise across generative and evaluative work.
• Ability to query and analyze product data using SQL or BI tools (Power BI).
• Portfolio or case studies showing research that shifted product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Set the research agenda for the product area and shape epics with design and product management.
• Lead generative research and discovery activities across complex product domains.
• Define success metrics and ground decisions with qualitative and quantitative data.
• Study AI‑assisted experiences and evaluate transparency, trust, and outcome quality.
