Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior UX Designer to scale the Fulfillment Technologies Experience Design team. You will own an end-to-end portfolio spanning research, interaction and visual design, prototyping, and post-launch evaluation for a global fulfillment network.

You will partner with PMs, engineers, and researchers to improve safety, productivity, and engagement for 1M+ associates, exploring AI-assisted prototyping, AR/CV patterns, and multi‑modal interfaces across devices and environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own a well-defined charter within your business portfolio and balance feasibility with impact.
• Drive the full product design lifecycle: research, problem-framing, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and post-launch measurement.
• Partner closely with product managers and engineers on problem-framing and solution definition.
• Develop fluency in emerging technologies within your domain and leverage AI tools to accelerate design workflows.
• Communicate the work and its impact crisply at the leadership level and build continuity with stakeholders.
• Maintain a 6–12 month roadmap and manage work on assigned initiatives.
• Run intake/prioritization and sprint planning within your portfolio.
• Contribute to design infrastructure and standardization across AFT’s products and design system.
• Ground decisions in field research, customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings.
• Mentor peers and participate in Bar Raiser Forum to raise the design bar.
