Job summary

Amazon is seeking a senior UX designer to lead the design of innovative retail experiences across multiple programs worldwide. You will synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, mentor teammates, and collaborate with executives to align on strategy.

You will design key features for North American Stores, create prototypes, and work with engineering to balance feasibility with ambition, elevating customer experiences across desktop and mobile.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Online portfolio showing end-to-end, user-centered design across desktop and mobile.
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
• Experience acquiring user data and creating personas and journey maps.
• Experience prototyping with Figma, Adobe CC, or similar.
• Experience with multiple cycles of platform or product design.

Responsibilities

• Design user experiences for North American Stores features.
• Create sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate across diverse teams to drive alignment.
• Develop design patterns and standards that scale.
• Lead brainstorming and cross-team reviews to drive decisions.
• Synthesize data to inform product-level decisions.
• Work with engineering to align with technology constraints.
• Balance short- and long-term design needs with feasibility.
