Job summary

Ryan, LLC is seeking a Senior UX Designer, Design Systems to own and evolve the design system that powers our digital tax products. You’ll refine tokens, naming, and component behavior, collaborating with engineers and product designers to keep patterns scalable and accessible.

This craft-first, individual contributor role welcomes deep design-system thinking and close collaboration across product teams to deliver quality experiences.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of product/UX design experience with enterprise design systems
• Proven experience building and scaling component libraries
• Solid understanding of design systems and how they translate into code

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a library of reusable components in Figma
• Own token and variable architecture in Figma and ensure alignment with engineering
• Write practical documentation for components and patterns for engineers
• Bake accessibility into the system from the ground up (WCAG, ARIA)
