Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead AI-powered learning experiences for K–12 learners, teachers, and families. You will frame problems, conduct user research, prototype, and validate high-fidelity interfaces that scale to hundreds of thousands of learners.

You’ll collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research to translate insights into intuitive, accessible product experiences, including trustworthy AI-driven features.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX design or a closely related discipline.
• Experience conducting usability tests and mixed-method research.
• Experience designing for AI-powered product features.
• Bachelor’s degree welcomed, but diverse backgrounds encouraged.
• Experience in Agile or Lean UX environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design for AI-powered learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research.
• Design for accessibility and WCAG 2.2 compliance from the start.
• Create responsive designs for web and mobile across breakpoints.
• Contribute to shared design system and maintain design consistency.
