Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead AI-powered learning experiences for K-12 platforms. You will work end-to-end from framing problems to prototyping and validating high-fidelity experiences that reach hundreds of thousands of learners.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research to translate insights into intuitive, accessible product experiences. This remote role may travel occasionally for in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX design or related discipline with end-to-end ownership of shipped products.
• Portfolio demonstrating impact on user outcomes and usability; experience with AI-powered features.

Responsibilities

• Conduct usability tests, interviews, and observations to validate design decisions.
• Own end-to-end product design, including flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and specs.
• Design AI-powered experiences (conversational interfaces, adaptive learning, AI surfaces) for K-12 users.
• Design for accessibility (WCAG 2.2) from the start and ensure responsive experiences across web and mobile.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics to inform roadmap and decisions.
• Mentor the design team and contribute to shared design system and processes.
