Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead end-to-end design of AI-powered learning experiences for K–12 students, teachers, and families. You’ll partner with PM, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research to translate insights into intuitive interfaces and contribute to a shared design system.

This remote role includes occasional travel. Applicants should have 7+ years in UX design, strong portfolio, and experience with AI-powered features; degree in HCI or related field is common but

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX design experience with shipped products.
• Experience designing AI-powered features and interfaces.
• Bachelor's degree in HCI, interaction design, cognitive science, or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience in Agile/Lean UX environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design from concept to handoff.
• Design AI-powered experiences and ensure trustworthiness for K–12 users.
• Deliver responsive designs across web and mobile across breakpoints.
• Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research.
• Maintain accessibility to WCAG 2.2 standards from the start.
