Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York/Brooklyn seeks a Senior Associate UX Creative Technologist to blend experience design with AI strategy, shaping user experiences within financial services.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver inclusive, accessible solutions grounded in a code-first approach. You will contribute to an AI-native design system, orchestrate design and engineering work, and ship AI agents and automations that improve workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a user experience design role focused on digital products.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative repositories.
• Expert with Figma and FigJam; fluent in VS Code, modern front-end frameworks, and AI coding tools.
• Experience designing across web, mobile, and other digital channels.
• Proficiency in rapid prototyping and AI-assisted workflows using VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code.
• Own and evolve UI design and information architecture for custom-built tools including SPAs and front-end development on HTML/CSS/JS with VS Code.
• Production-level front-end engineering with accessibility and performance optimization.
• Proven experience building scalable design systems as coded infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents, automations, or AI-augmented tooling.
• Experience in technology industry, either in a dedicated technology role or hybrid design/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and transform data into insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines.
• Iterate design based on user feedback to improve UX.
• Diagram service flows, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints; lead end-to-end initiatives.
• Build and refine front-end interfaces; translate concepts into production-quality, accessible code.
• Contribute to an AI-native design system end-to-end with tokens, components, patterns, and documentation.
• Design and ship AI agents and automations to make the system generative and self-improving.
• Establish middle-layer connections, APIs, and tooling linking the design system to products and pipelines.
• Build coded prototypes to validate ideas before shipping.
