Black & Veatch is seeking a Utility BESS EPC Project Director to lead large EPC projects across power, transmission, and energy infrastructure. You will direct multi-discipline teams, manage risk, schedule, and quality, and ensure client satisfaction while aligning with corporate objectives.

The role emphasizes executive leadership for utility-scale battery energy storage programs, with strong focus on safety, collaboration, and financial performance. Travel to project sites is required.

Formación

• 12 years of progressive experience in engineering or project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience managing large EPC projects in utility/renewable sectors.
• Experience with EPC contract structures (lump sum, EpCM, alliance).
• Senior project leadership with P&L accountability.
• Lead multi-office, geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong commercial acumen in risk and contract administration.
• Experience with BESS, transmission, or substation projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as required to support project execution and client engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates EPC/Service project execution for large multi-discipline teams.
• Oversees risk, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Leads staffing, staffing plans, and resource management.
• Manages project financial performance including revenue and margin.
