Job summary
Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Senior Registered Electrical Engineer for Battery Energy System Storage (BESS) projects in an employee-owned setting. You will lead electrical design, oversee staff and ensure quality, budget and schedules across EPC programs.
The role requires deep technical leadership and client relationship development. As part of our team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to solve complex challenges and deliver reliable, cutting-edge energy storage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 11 years of related work experience.
- Professional engineering licensure/registered engineer (EOR) preferred/required.
Responsibilities
- Lead Electrical design for Battery Energy System Storage facilities.
- Manage Electrical engineering staff on diverse projects across EPC programs.
- Oversee Electrical design quality, budget, and schedule.
- Function as a technical expert and develop budgets for projects.
- Build business relationships with clients to understand needs.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
