Xcel Energy is seeking a Standard Operations Scheduler responsible for daily work plan maintenance across multiple crews, prioritizing safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. You will assign crews, coordinate equipment, and ensure materials and prerequisites are in place to support timely work execution.

The role emphasizes strong communication with frontline leaders, data-driven scheduling, and collaboration across departments to maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong scheduling and planning experience in utility or construction industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews for priority tasks.
• Review incoming designed work outside normal scheduling window and manage queue.
• Coordinate equipment, prepare prerequisites, and ensure material availability for work.
• Manage schedule disruptions and communicate updates to leaders and crews.
• Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity and efficiency.
