Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Standard Operations professional to coordinate daily work plans for multiple crews. You will optimize crew and resource assignments, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

This role demands strong scheduling, communication, and coordination with front-line leaders. Responsibilities include adjusting schedules, handling exception work, coordinating equipment and materials, and guiding tasks from start to finish while maintaining productive stakeholder

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations (utility experience preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools and ability to retrieve data from reporting tools.
• Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software applications including Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews for priorities considering resources.
• Review and manage the real-time queue and assign new tasks to handle exceptions.
• Coordinate equipment, prerequisites, and materials to enable work execution.
• Communicate schedule updates to leaders and stakeholders to maximize productivity.
