Job summary

Xcel Energy Services Inc in Minnesota seeks a Standard Operations professional to coordinate daily work plans across multiple crews, prioritizing safety, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

You will assign crews, manage resources, and ensure timely work while leveraging strong data analysis and Excel skills. The role supports a hybrid work model with onsite presence three days per week, enabling collaboration with frontline teams and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations area.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet customer/internal requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
• Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software including Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews for priority tasks.
• Review incoming work packets and manage the queue with real-time progress.
• Coordinate equipment and materials for work execution.
• Ensure work acceptance and site readiness.
• Identify changes and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Manage rejections and recalibrate schedules to meet start dates.
• Communicate schedule updates to leaders, crews and stakeholders.
