Xcel Energy is hiring an Operations Scheduler to strategically plan a multi-week schedule across a designated region, balancing resources, priorities, and customer expectations. You will coordinate with field teams, management, and stakeholders to maintain an executable plan while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires strong scheduling, data analysis, and Excel skills, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years in related operations. Hybrid work with onsite days is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or other operations area.
• Utility scheduling/planning experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and data retrieval/manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Plan a multi-week region-wide work schedule based on demand and priorities.
• Identify gaps and resolve scheduling conflicts; advise management on resource needs.
• Manage personnel, equipment, and material resources over multi-week horizon.
• Optimize resources to minimize costs and maximize schedule adherence and safety.
• Forecast resource utilization for upcoming quarters and propose reallocations and improvements.
• Facilitate monthly regional/area metric review meetings.
• Ensure compliance work is scheduled within required timeframes.
• Coordinate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity.
