Job summary

Step One Automotive Group LLC is seeking a Used Car Manager in Florida to drive profitability for the pre-owned department. You will forecast sales and expenses, manage merchandising and inventory, and supervise the used-vehicle sales team to achieve aggressive but realistic goals.

You will oversee follow-up systems, pricing strategies, advertising coordination, and vehicle reconditioning, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 2–4 years related experience.
• Experience with VAuto, Dealertrack, and VIN Solutions highly preferred.
• Full function Desking skills.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Forecast sales, gross and expenses for monthly/annual periods.
• Forecast goals and objectives for the used-vehicle department.
• Schedule department staffing and supervise salespeople.
• Develop follow-up systems for used-vehicle purchasers and prospects.
• Maintain and display vehicle inventory; analyze local market data to decide stock.
• Coordinate with sales, advertising, and service departments.
