Job summary

Tomorrow.io is seeking a hands-on Program Delivery lead to own and drive U.S. government programs end-to-end, from kickoff through support.

You will translate contracts into executable plans, manage scope/budget, and ensure timely, compliant delivery while coordinating with Legal, Finance, Product, Science, Engineering, and BD. You will serve as the primary government customer contact, balance multiple engagements, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on program management delivering complex tech programs for U.S. government customers.
• Direct experience with U.S. government agencies at federal level (defense, civil aviation, emergency management, homeland security).
• Proven ability to own programs end to end with minimal institutional support and manage multiple concurrent programs.
• Strong cross-functional influence across Engineering, Legal, Product, Finance, and Business Development.
• Excellent English written and spoken communication; willing to travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive full lifecycle of U.S. government programs: kickoff, delivery, POC, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Translate contracts/SOWs into executable plans with milestones and accountability; ensure follow-through.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple concurrent programs and agency environments.
• Ensure all deliverables, reporting, invoicing, and compliance artifacts are completed on time.
• Serve as primary point of contact for government customers and align cross-functional teams to maintain momentum.
• Support pre-sale activities: validate POC scope and ensure complete technical/financial/delivery analysis.
• Build governance and reporting that scales with growth; communicate program health to leadership.
• Travel within the U.S. as needed; on-site presence when required for milestones.
