ABB Inc. is seeking a seasoned corporate/immigration? (legal) leader to provide comprehensive US fiduciary and governance counsel.

You will oversee regulatory filings, contractor licensing, and risk management while advising the Country Holding Officer and senior management on governance and strategic legal matters. The role includes leading integrity investigations, privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory certifications, with cross-functional support across business areas.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a US law school with active bar admission and 10+ years in corporate/commercial law.
• Experience governing fiduciary duties, corporate governance, and decentralized orgs.
• Strong business-focused legal judgment with risk mitigation and process improvement.
• Proficiency in contract review, drafting, negotiation; M&A; and corporate secretarial functions.
• Deep knowledge of data privacy, US government contracting, licensing, and related regulation.
• Familiarity with finance, treasury, risk management/insurance; experience in antitrust, IP, and IS/IT matters.
• Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accountability for Legal & Integrity fiduciary duties and corporate governance for US entities.
• Advise US Country Holding Officer and senior management on governance, compliance, risk, and strategic legal matters.
• Oversee integrity investigations, government contracting compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory certifications.
• Provide counsel on contracts, commercial agreements, and harmonize legal processes across BA-specific needs.
