Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join the MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team in North America. This remote role places you as the primary technical contact for clients, designing Ultra Pure Water (UPW) treatment systems and leading cross-functional bids from qualification through handover.

You will translate customer needs into Veolia solutions, develop design documents, manage cost estimation, and coordinate with Sourcing to finalize competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Bid/proposal development and customer-facing technical sales experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid strategy development with Sales and organize resources to meet deadlines.
• Translate customer requirements into Veolia solutions and optimize value delivery.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to design flowsheets for water treatment challenges.
• Develop technical documentation including P&IDs and proposal materials.
• Manage cost estimation by partnering with Sourcing to obtain quotes and finalize pricing.
• Drive proposal development through meetings and cross-functional coordination.
• Establish project timelines and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with internal bid development procedures.
