Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for its MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team in North America. You will be the primary technical contact for clients, leading the design of Ultra Pure Water treatment solutions and managing the full bid lifecycle from lead qualification to project handover.

You will translate customer requirements into Veolia solutions, develop P&IDs and technical documentation, collaborate with Process Engineering, and drive cost estimation and proposal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Experience in bid/proposal development with strong technical and commercial analysis.
• Track record in customer-facing technical sales or engineering roles.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid strategy development with Sales to meet deadlines.
• Translate customer requirements into Veolia solutions.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to design flowsheet processes.
• Develop P&IDs and proposal materials documenting solution benefits.
• Manage cost estimation by coordinating with Sourcing for quotes and pricing.
• Drive proposal development through cross-functional coordination.
• Establish project timelines and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with internal bid procedures and forecasting.
