Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join the North America MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team. You will be the primary technical contact for clients, designing cutting-edge UPW treatment solutions and leading bid lifecycle from qualification to handover.

You will combine advanced engineering with strong project leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, compliant submissions while optimizing value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Experience with bid/proposal development and technical sales or engineering roles.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Fluent in English, strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid strategy development with Sales to meet deadlines.
• Translate requirements into Veolia solutions with competitive value.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering on flowsheet designs.
• Develop technical documentation including P&IDs and proposals.
• Manage cost estimation with Sourcing for quotes and pricing.
• Drive proposal development through cross-functional meetings.
• Set project timelines and ensure deadlines and quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal bid procedures and forecasting.
