Job summary

Veolia is seeking a senior process engineer to lead UPW system design, integration, and optimization for North American clients. You will drive bids, verify design integrity, and mentor teams while balancing capital and operating costs.

The role requires broad chemical/environmental engineering knowledge, 10+ years in UPW, and the ability to travel up to 10% in North America. Join a team delivering robust ultra-pure water solutions for the microelectronics sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with UPW system experience.
10+ years in UPW treatment design with possible field operations background.
Experience with UPW processes and microelectronics system design/operation.
Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive, optimized treatment systems.

Responsibilities

Water chemistry characterization and design basis development for UPW systems.
Unit process sizing, equipment selection, and design guarantees.
Apply advanced treatment tech (membranes, ion exchange, UV) for microelectronics UPW.
Own system integration across unit operations or collaborate with system integrator.
Evaluate operation under design/upset conditions and participate in HAZOPs.
