Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute professional and special events hosted by the School of Dentistry.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, venues, and budgets to ensure timely, compliant events.
• Monitor expenditures and maintain accurate financial records within approved guidelines.
• Ensure proper university protocol and a hospitality experience that reflects UAB's brand and standards.
• Support staff development and share best practices in event planning.
• Attend planning meetings with stakeholders and keep leadership aligned throughout the process.
• Support Alumni membership growth and engagement initiatives.
• Assist Alumni Association publications and related communications projects.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Senior Director.
