Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a Lead Underwriting Systems Analyst to partner with underwriting, IT, actuarial, operations, and other stakeholders to implement and enhance commercial insurance products within Guidewire PolicyCenter.

The role acts as systems product owner for assigned lines, leading requirements, QA, UAT, training, and process improvements to ensure underwriting integrity and regulatory compliance across multiple product lines in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in commercial insurance.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (or similar policywriting administration application).
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence.
• Ability to translate system functionality into test cases and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Own designated lines of business as systems product owner.
• Prioritize product backlog and refine items by business value.
• Create user stories with acceptance criteria and clarify requirements.
• Lead acceptance testing and develop training materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate release goals.
