Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a Lead Underwriting Systems Analyst in Phoenix to partner with underwriting, IT, and business teams to implement and enhance commercial insurance products in Guidewire PolicyCenter. You will own product lines, lead backlog prioritization, write detailed user stories, and coordinate testing and training.

This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders and a focus on underwriting integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance.
• Desirable college degree and/or professional insurance certifications.

Responsibilities

• Owns product backlog for assigned lines of business and prioritizes features.
• Creates detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and clarifies requirements for development teams.
• Engages stakeholders to gather feedback and translate it into backlog items.
• Defines release goals and communicates scope to the dev team.
• Participates in acceptance testing and develops training materials for users.
