Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Lead UW Systems Analyst in the United States to act as systems product owner for commercial insurance underwriting within Guidewire PolicyCenter. You will work with underwriting, product, IT, actuarial, operations, billing, and claims to translate requirements into effective solutions and drive backlog, testing, training, and delivery.

The role includes informal leadership of analysts, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance and operational

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial insurance.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter or comparable policy administration application.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned lines of business and support commercial insurance products.
• Manage product backlog, prioritize valuable enhancements.
• Define business requirements and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product, IT, actuarial, operations, billing, and claims stakeholders.
• Coordinate release planning and communicate scope to teams.
• Lead user acceptance testing and develop test scenarios.
• Develop training materials for system functionality.
• Provide informal leadership to analysts and champion process improvements.
• Oversee projects, capacity planning, and roadmaps for system functionality.
• Promote standards for requirements, defect reporting, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and timely issue resolution.
