Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a Product Owner - Policy Management to lead strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the commercial policy lifecycle. You will connect business, technology, data, and operations to translate priorities into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities include owning backlog, aligning with stakeholders, guiding agile delivery, and ensuring compliant, scalable product capabilities while driving value realization across policy administration and related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, technology, analytics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial insurance (P&C) across product, operations, or technology.
• 5+ years in product ownership, product management, or equivalent leadership role.
• Deep expertise in at least one insurance domain (claims, underwriting, billing, etc.).
• Proven ability to own and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and product-centric organizations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute squad vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
• Translate business strategy into objectives and measurable OKRs.
• Lead an agile squad and adapt to market, regulatory, and performance changes.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of product capabilities from intake to delivery.
• Ensure alignment across adjacent product domains and value streams.
• Drive customer and operational experience across journeys with value realization.
• Own and prioritize backlog with focus on business value, risk, and compliance.
• Balance feature delivery, tech debt, regulatory mandates, and stability.
• Define clear user stories with requirements, acceptance criteria, and value.
• Act as primary business owner and decision authority for the product.
