Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, seeks a Senior Underwriter to support growth of Management and Professional Lines, underwriting and marketing assigned products, managing a profitable book, and strengthening broker relationships.

This role can be based in AZ, UT, NV, MT, ID, OR, CO, WA, NM or WY, requiring advanced technical underwriting, sales acumen, and collaboration with brokers and internal stakeholders to drive business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related underwriting experience.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management & Underwriting: Manage and grow a profitable book across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Cyber, and other Management Liability products.
• Agency & Broker Development: Build and strengthen relationships with agency partners, producers and brokers; develop territory strategies.
• Business Development: Execute targeted marketing plans to attract new business opportunities and identify prospective accounts.
• Collaboration & Service: Partner with underwriting, claims, risk management, marketing, operations, and product management teams to support objectives and deliver excellent client service.
