Philadelphia Insurance Companies, part of the Tokio Marine Group, is seeking a Senior Underwriter to support profitable growth in Management and Professional Lines. Under limited direction, you will underwrite and market products, manage a profitable book, and develop strong agency relationships while delivering underwriting excellence.

This role handles complex issues with guidance as needed, contributing to the development of less experienced underwriters and collaborating with multiple teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5+ years in underwriting or related industry experience.
• Experience managing agency relationships and negotiating with producers and accounts.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, exposures, and risk characteristics to drive underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market assigned products in line with guidelines and profitability goals.
• Develop and maintain strong agency relationships; present proposals to producers and accounts.
• Price risks, negotiate terms, and manage complex renewal business.
• Share market intelligence and underwriting insights with leadership and team members.
