CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting professional for Meritain Health to help price and quote stop-loss plans across a diversified book of business. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales and Client Management and requires Excel and Salesforce proficiency.

The position is fully remote in the United States with a standard 40-hour work week and eligibility for CVS Health benefits and bonus programs. A related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience in brokers, carriers or TPAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing guidance and stop loss strategy consultations to Sales and Client Management.
• Prepare and issue quotations and financial deliverables for prospects and existing business.
• Develop financial projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies; negotiate terms based on data.
• Collaborate with leaders across functions to assess impacts of custom requests.
• Manage operational data and apply insights to fee development.
• Present findings to internal/external customers and partners.
• Explain CVS Meritain products and services clearly.
• Contribute to presentations for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Sales to optimize product mix reducing total cost of care.
• Assist sales in communicating rates and underwriting policies.
• Maintain positive relationships with sales, clients, and internal teams.
