CVS Health, Meritain Health underwriting role, is fully remote and supports pricing, stop loss and plan quotations across a national book. You will project financials in Excel and Salesforce while partnering with Sales and Client Management to optimize cost of care.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years of applicable medical insurance experience required (brokers, carriers, TPA, underwriting, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss strategies.
• Prepare and issue quotations and financial deliverables for prospective and existing business.
• Prepare financial projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies; negotiate terms based on data and cost avoidance.
• Collaborate with leaders to assess impacts of custom requests.
• Interpret operational data for fee development and financial analysis.
• Present to internal/external customers and business partners.
• Demonstrate understanding of Meritain products and services.
• Support presentations to customers, partners and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Sales to determine product mix for cost-of-care reduction.
• Assist sales and client management in explaining rates and underwriting terms.
• Maintain positive relationships with sales, client management, and internal partners.
