Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Underground Transmission team. The role oversees project managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel across 69kV–345kV projects, including duct banks, manholes, vaults, and cable installations.

Based in Chicago, Philadelphia, or Norristown, you will drive risk mitigation and constructability improvements. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years PM experience, and strong AutoCAD/Deltek/SharePoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program is required.
• 10+ years of project management experience in related field.
• 5+ years in underground transmission design experience (duct bank, manhole/vault, splice design, cable analysis).
• PMP certification or PE license is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Deltek, and SharePoint; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse project teams of managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Manage safety initiatives and ensure program safety compliance.
• Coordinate with clients and area agencies for approvals.
• Mentor and train junior staff and project coordinators.
