Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Underground Transmission team, based in Chicago, Philadelphia, or nearby locations. You will lead PMs, engineers, and field staff in 69kV–345kV projects, manage risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Lead efforts to develop proposals and contracts, monitor productivity and financial health, and mentor staff. Travel may be required to client sites and areas. A strong background in AutoCAD, Deltek, and SharePoint is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program is required.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years in underground transmission design (duct bank, vaults, cables).
• PMP certification or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct PM teams in underground transmission projects.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and cost estimates for senior management.
• Manage multiple projects with budget, schedule, and quality oversight.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure program compliance.
• Mentor Project Coordinators and Project Managers.
